As far as big name guests go, Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace is no Barack Obama, but she nonetheless made for some fascinating conversation on the most recent episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. Over the course of the hour-long episode, Grace talks about the history of her band and childhood growing up in a military family, as well as more serious topics, like labels and transphobia in the punk community. Grace’s appearance on the podcast likely stemmed from an exchange she and Maron had on Twitter last year, as Stereogum points out.
