La Luz Triumph Over Near-Fatal Car Accident on New, Ty Segall-Produced Album
On November 5, 2013, La Luz was driving back to Seattle after playing a show in Boise when they slipped on a patch of black ice and collided with a freeway divider

Titled “Don’t Wanna Be Anywhere,” the track continues the band’s surf-rock-inspired sound to new harmonious heights, swelling with echoing vocal layers and wobbling with frontwoman Shana Cleveland’s meticulously casual guitar solos. Check it out.
