Watch a Fictional Daft Punk Debut ‘Da Funk’ at a House Party in ‘Eden’ Teaser

The Mia Hansen-Løve-directed film provides an imagined look into the French touch scene

Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter recently went unmasked in a film called Reality, but a clip from another French flick offers a look into a time before the duo donned their helmets… Sort of. Mia Hansen-Løve’s latest feature Eden is set in and around the French touch scene of the early ’90s, which happened to count Daft Punk as early practitioners. There’s a scene in the film where the DJ protagonist Paul hits up a house party where a fictionalized version of the duo just so happens to be debuting their smash single “Da Funk.” The atmosphere is about as electric as you might imagine.
