Courtney Love Will Reprise Operatic Role in Boston This Fall
'Kansas City Choir Boy' hits the city for a brief engagement in early October, starring the Hole singer
If you live in Boston and happen to be a fan of Courtney Love’s acting — much like Joel Schumacher, who would’ve maybe directed the Hole singer in the failed Batman Unchained, did back in the ’90s — you’re in luck this fine day. According to Boston Magazine, the Empire guest actress will star in the opera Kansas City Choir Boy at the Oberon in Harvard Square this fall.
Love originated the role in a brief New York City run earlier this year and received pretty spectacular reviews for the performance. The show will run in Boston from October 1 through 10, and tickets are on sale here.
