James (whose masterpiece Selected Ambient Works, Vol. 2 made it onto SPIN’s list of the 300 Best Albums of the Past 30 Years) is indeed releasing a new album, Orphaned Deejay Selek 2006-08, but it’s under his AFX moniker, last seen on his Analord series from 2003-2005.
