Arcade Fire’s Win Butler has already shown his affinity for the scrappy synth poppers in Future Islands, but he gave them support Friday night in the strangest of places. During the latter band’s performance at a private party in Vermont organized by the car sales website Dealer.com, Butler hopped up on stage during their now-signature hit “Seasons (Waiting on You)” to sing a few lines. His guest appearance is brief, but given just how many covers Butler performed during the Reflektor tour, he’s become pretty great at singing other people’s songs. Watch it here via Stereogum.
