It’s been a little while since we heard from the 1975, which may explain the U.K. band’s cryptic message (and subsequent apparent deletion of their social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) over the weekend. On Sunday, May 31, the 1975’s manager posted a comic that seems to hint at a changed future for the band.

“Our rendered identity needs to change not only visually but philosophically — how do you do that? Firstly we must reclaim our identity and repossess control of it,” the clip reads. “As much as we might like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part of life.” Wise words.
