This weekend, the post-punk greats in Wire are putting on the latest installment of their DRILL Festival in Chicago. As announced on the fest’s website, St. Vincent was on hand to aid the quartet in their performance of the song “Drill” that gave the festival its name. Annie Clark adds on some teeth-chattering guitar work and droning vocals to the track’s plodding sprawl, resulting in a spiraling, anxious rendition that’s worth a watch. Check that out here.
