Ryan DeRobertis, the disco-leaning producer formerly known as Saint Pepsi, put out a stellar 7-inch last year under the name Skylar Spence and it appears that he’s finally set to release his debut full-length under that moniker. The LP, bestowed with the appropriately glitzy title Prom King, will be out on September 18 on Carpark Records, and he’s shared the first single “Can’t You See” today. Like the dizzy, headstrong “Fall Harder,” this new cut is built around retromanic synth lines and some self-deprecating lyrics about trying just a little too hard.
