Nightjacket Reassure ‘It’s Alright’ on New Single

The lush track is the second single off the Los Angeles quintet's debut EP

From its reverb-drenched opening chord, Nightjacket’s lovely and wistful new track “It’s Alright” pegs the Los Angeles five-piece as a bunch of hopeless romantics. Buoyed by the smoky, chanteuse-like vocals of singer Holland Belle, the band’s lush dream-pop taps into the heavily nostalgic vibes of bands like Mazzy Star and Beach House. “Complete my heart tonight,” Belle sings, backed by a crisp drum groove and thick coats of shimmering guitar that beg to soundtrack a summer-night drive.

The band will be self-releasing its debut EP Eternal Phase on June 23, currently available for pre-order. Stream “It’s Alright” below.
