Miguel Enlisted Chance the Rapper and A$AP Ferg for a Surprise Chicago Show
The free show replaced a cancelled set at Northwestern University
Miguel was set to perform on Saturday as part of Northwestern University’s annual Dillo Day concert, but rain forced a cancellation of the whole event. Leave it to the R&B lothario to turn bad weather lemons into lemonade. The Wildheart singer was able to find a comparatively tiny Chicago venue to play host to a show that night, and he was able to enlist A$AP Ferg (who was also on the Dillo Day lineup) and local hero Chance the Rapper for the proceedings.
As FADER points out, Instagram footage has surfaced of Chance running through his Surf track “Sunday Candy,” as well as Ferg performing “Work (Remix),” while the others dance onstage. Check out those clips below along with a fan-shot video of a full 30 minutes of the set.
