Jamie xx released his stunning (and Essential) solo debut In Colour today, and in celebration he made an appearance on the French TV show Le Grand Journal to perform “Loud Places.” On record, that track features his xx bandmates Oliver Sim and Romy Madley Croft offering their typically mellow vocalizations, and they show up here too but with a full band and choir to help out. It all could be gloriously overblown, but the members of the xx have always dealt in restraint. Watch it below.
