Girlpool‘s nostalgic indie-pop debut Before the World Was Big came out earlier this month and today the duo has shared a simple visual for “Magnifying Glass.” The song’s 40-second runtime doesn’t allow director Craig Scheihing much space to work with, but he’s still able to turn out something worthwhile. There’s, of course, a magnifying glass or two along with a bunch of flowers and a literal, surreal representation of the lyric about their friends “growing in the garden.” Watch it here.
