Death From Above 1979 Will Record Live LP at Jack White’s Third Man Records

Their July 16 show will be recorded straight to acetate

The freewheeling synth-punks in Death From Above 1979 don’t appear to be stopping their fruitful reunion any time soon. Today, Jack White’s Third Man Records announced that the duo would be stopping through their studios in July to record a live album. Like Jack’s “world’s fastest record” stunt from last year, this album will be recorded directly to acetate. The Physical World creators will join Parquet Courts, Mudhoney, and Divine Fits as participants in the Third Man sessions.
