Courtney Barnett stopped by the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, where she absolutely killed a performance of “Pedestrian at Best,” which is taken from the Essential Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. Snarling out the lyrics in a Chastity Belt tank top, Barnett did a remarkable job on her debut album’s lead single (and SPIN‘s leading song of the year), making it easy to see why she’s earning all of that Fallon-termed “massive, massive critical acclaim.” Check it out.
