Noonie Bao may’ve only been known as a songwriter (Charli XCX’s “Doing It” most notably) and featured artist (Clean Bandit’s “Rihanna”) before, but on her new single “I’m In Love,” the Swedish talent makes it very clear that solo artistic ambition comes first and foremost now. On an exclusive new acoustic version of the track, the 27-year-old singer rips off most of her instrumentation, instead emphasizing her lilting, reedy vocals as they waft achingly over a quietly supportive piano.
