Neon Indian Returns With the Psychedelically Bass-Heavy ‘Annie’
It's the first taste of the producer's third album, reportedly due this fall
Neon Indian hasn’t been heard from in a while — 2011’s Era Extraña was the musician born Alan Palomo’s last full-length – but he’s back now with “Annie,” a gurgling, bass-licked summertime tune. It falls right in line with his previous releases, incorporating psychedelic riffs and electronic styling into the mix, but manages to push the sound into the future. “Annie” is reportedly off Neon Indian’s third album, coming later this year.
