My Morning Jacket are set to release their seventh studio album The Waterfall next week. Friday night, that meant a stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (which has had some pretty special bookings this week) for a performance the as-yet-unreleased single “Compound Fracture.” The band rollicks through their typically airy Americana in front of a backdrop that echoes the record’s cover, so both for the performance and for the stunning visuals its worth taking a look at the whole thing up above. The Waterfall is out May 4 on ATO and Capitol Records.
