Fans have been waiting some time now for the full-length debut album from house producer Lane 8, whose twinkling, deeply felt singles (“Every Night,” “Nothing You Can Say”) have been some of the most sensuous of the last few years. The album will finally arrive in July, entitled Rise, and the latest single from it is “Hot As You Want,” a lovely 4/4 anthem with typically resonant bass and evocative synths, loads of tambourine, and a lead vocal from recurring guest Solomon Grey, raving “Hot as you want me to be / You’re all I see, you’re all I see.”
