Chicago native Chance the Rapper sponsors a series of open mike nights for city high school students, and on Monday he was joined by two very special guests — Kanye West and Vic Mensa. The two rappers, who also famoulsy hail from the Windy City, performed a set including the tracks “All Day,” “U Mad,” and “We Don’t Care” at the Reva and David Logan Center on the city’s South Side. “You need a high school ID to get into the Open Mike,” a Chicago-based music writer noted on Twitter, “so stay in school.” Watch some footage of the show below, and look for another chance to see ‘Ye when he performs at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 17.
