Girlpool Go ‘Cherry Picking’ on Sweet New Track

Credit: Alice Baxley

Girlpool will soon release their debut studio album, Before the World Was Big, and now they’ve released a new single called “Cherry Picking.” Staying in line with the childhood theme they spoke of in SPIN‘s In the Studio conversation, Harmony Tividad and Cleo Tucker join voices over gentle acoustic strums and sing, well, girlishly: “Yes, I am picking cherries / I have a hard time staying clean.” Hear “Cherry Picking” below, pre-order Before the World Was Big here, check out tour dates below, and grab the project when it hits shelves on June 2 via Wichita Recordings.
