Foo Fighters Morph Into ‘Chevy Metal,’ Cover Bryan Adams, the Knack, AC/DC, and More

While on a break from their Sonic Highways world tour, the Foo Fighters performed a surprise concert last Saturday at a county fair called Conejo Valley Days in Thousand Oaks, California. Appearing as Chevy Metal, a.k.a. drummer Taylor Hawkins’ cover band, the guys played renditions of Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ’69” (seems a popular song to cover nowadays), the Knack’s “My Sharona,” John Mellencamp’s “Hurts So Good,” AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock,” and more. Watch Dave Grohl & Co, perform “Summer of ’69” above and “My Sharona” and “Let There Be Rock” below.
