The Chemical Brothers Drop Simmering ‘Go’ Video Featuring Q-Tip
The rapper first appeared on the electronic duo's 2005 hit "Galvanize"
“Go,” the lead single from the Chemical Brothers’ forthcoming studio LP, Born in the Echoes, may as well also be their mission statement: “We’re only here to make you go!” Q-Tip, who first appeared on the legendary U.K. electronic duo’s 2005 Grammy-winning banger “Galvanize,” raps over a rubbery snapback bassline and science-fictive piston blasts. Director Michel Gondry (The Science of Sleep, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) helmed the music video — he also designed clips for the Chemical Brothers’ “Star Guitar” and “Let Forever Be” — featuring futuristic lederhosen-clad dancers dancing robotically with two poles.
