Chance the Rapper Shares Another Silken Home Studio Single ‘Hiatus’

Chance the Rapper and the Social Experiment’s debut full-length Surf has still yet to surface, but the Acid Rapper doesn’t ever go too long without giving fans a little taste of something new. So this weekend, Chance shared another brief missive from his home studio called “Hiatus.” Appropriately, the minute-long track features a silken sample of the Australian soul act Hiatus Kaiyote and Chance is able to spin that into a wooly heartwarming yarn that recalls his other recent sunny-eyed output like “Sunday Candy” and “Wonderful Everyday.” Interestingly, Chance and co. decided to place this song at the same Soundcloud link as his previous home-recorded dispatch “Home Studio (Back Up in This Bitch)” but it is, in fact, a different track. You can listen to it in full below.
