Next week, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers will release his sophomore LP, The Desired Effect (you can stream it now, though), and in advance of that, the singer brought his funky new cut “Lonely Town” to the Late Late Show on Wednesday night. Talking to SPIN last week, Flowers said that the track “is probably the funkiest song that I will ever write. It doesn’t seem like a white 33-year-old wrote it.” He’s not wrong.
