Avicii’s latest single — a soulful reworking of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” — has hit the web. The Swedish producer partnered with car maker Volvo for the new track to add some of his trademark energy and epic synth styling to the song, which was first written for the 1964 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd, and made famous by Simone the next year on her iconic album, I Put a Spell on You. Avicii’s final result stays true to the original but with an injection of that dance floor oomph. Stream it below, and look for the official video when it premieres this Friday, May 8.
