Because it’s still 2015, another rap superstar has announced that in a week we’ll have an another entire new album in our hands. In this case, it’s the ever-mischievous Tyler, the Creator releasing Cherry Bomb on April 13 via his own Odd Future label (that’s the album cover above). The news came by way of his new Golf Media app, which launched at midnight and “does just about everything but cure asthma.”
You can pre-order the album now on iTunes, and those who do can download two of the new tracks immediately (“DEATHCAMP” and “F***ING YOUNG/PERFECT”), the latter of which includes such lyrics as “I don’t have any armpits” and already has a video featuring cameos from Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bundick, Black Lips’ Cole Alexander, and Charlie Wilson. Complex reports that track 11 on the album features both Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
