Nicki Minaj was not scheduled to perform at Coachella this year, and while she technically didn’t, she did make a couple onstage appearances on Sunday of the festival’s second weekend. During Drake’s headlining set, Minaj dropped by for a quick hug as Drizzy congratulated her on her recent engagement to Meek Mill. “You know when that girl you’ve had a crush on and shit starts being with someone else?” Drake joked. “You gotta be like, congratulations.” Minaj, who didn’t sing or speak a word, left the stage soon afterwards to the sounds of “Truffle Butter” and an airhorn. Unlike last weekend, there was no make-out session.
Minaj also graced the stage during David Guetta’s set earlier in the night while he played their collaboration with Afrojack, “Hey Mamma.”
