Welsh singer / songwriter Marina Diamandis — better known from her work as Marina and the Diamonds — released one of our favorite pop albums of the year in March with the quirky, effervescent, and quietly heartbreaking Froot. Last night, she brought one of the LP highlights to Conan, playing most recent single “Forget” with the assistance of a full backing band (who may technically comprise “The Diamonds” at the moment, though as with Florence + the Machine, at the end of the day it’s really just Marina).
