Last month, Madonna decided to premiere her “Living For Love” music video on Snapchat, giving the iPhone app exclusivity for a full day. Yesterday the Rebel Heart singer again butted up against technology, attempting to drop her “Ghost Town” video on the video live-streaming service Meerkat a day after promising its premiere, but failing to deliver. Faced with similar streaming issues today once more— “[her] dial up internet must be buffering,” one fan suggested — Madge suffered another setback, tweeting out a link to an inactive page with an actual meerkat wearing a blonde wig:
Minutes later, the innovative legend tweeted a link to the following page, promising the “Ghost Town” video there:
Eventually the “Ghost Town” video got uploaded to YouTube, taking the loss on the innovative aspect. Watch it above, or instead, gaze gently upon the bewigged Meerkat, which is arguably more entertaining than the real thing.
