Following a show at Atlanta’s Compound, Lil Wayne’s tour buses were shot at by unknown assailants. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police responded to a call at 3:30 a.m. about a shooting involving a bus “that Lil Wayne was on.” When they arrived, they discovered that Wayne’s tour buses had both taken gunshots, but fortunately no injuries have been reported. The shooting occurred on I-285, near I-75, according to the busdrivers. A police spokesperson says that the attackers were driving two white cars: “possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV,” but no suspects have been identified at this time. Police are still investigating the incident.
