Janelle Monae has always been the type of singer to skirt the line between innovative electro-R&B and soul and mainstream pop, cleverly playing with listeners’ notions of what boundaries even exist between such genres at the present. Keeping with that theme is “Yoga,” the bouncy star’s new collaboration with Jidenna — a member of Monae’s Wondaland Records — for which there’s now an equally as body rolling, category-bending video.
