Jack White Played a Surprise Acoustic Show in Alaska

Last week, Jack White announced that he was going to be taking a break from performing live for “a long period of time,” but not before he did five surprise acoustic shows in states he’s never visited before. Monday night saw the first of these $3 concerts, as White left the lower 48 states and headed up to the Wendy Williams Auditorium in Anchorage, Alaska. This was the first time White ever played a fully acoustic show. At another show outside of the contiguous states in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was joined by Jack Johnson for a surprising, and charming, rendition of “We’re Gonna Be Friends.” You can watch a few clips from the Alaska show in a couple of fan-shot Instagram videos below.
