Watch Chance the Rapper’s Playful ‘Sunday Candy’ Short Film

Chance the Rapper’s been teasing his new album with Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment, Surf, for quite a while now. Though there’s still no release date for that record, he’s appropriately chosen today to share a short film for a single from that record called “Sunday Candy.” The video, directed by Austin Veseley and written by Chance, is an appropriately playful visual, featuring moving sets and impressive footwork courtesy a host of background dancers. With the hand drawn backgrounds and the proliferation of letterman jackets the whole thing feels something like what Michel Gondry might have done with High School Musical, which is pretty cool.
