Hear Brand New’s First Song in Six Years, ‘Mene’
The alt-legends played the track at Coachella last night
Over the weekend, Brand New played a few gigs in Colorado, Utah, and Coachella. At all of them, the Long Island band played “Mene,” their first new track in six years. As Vic Mensa did with his Kanye West collaboration “U Mad” on Friday, Brand New promptly shared the official track with their fans after closing out their Indio set. “Mene” is a big, brash, guitar-driven return to form that seems primed for stadium and festival sing alongs, if you’re in the mood to howl, “We don’t feel anything” over and over at the top of your lungs. You can hear it below or download it via the alt-rock New York legends’ website.
