Modest Mouse Brought ‘Strangers To Ourselves’ Tracks to ‘CBS This Morning’

Isaac Brock also gave an interview to the now-hip news show

After years of rumors and false starts, Modest Mouse are finally back in the public eye thanks to their new album Strangers To Ourselves. Hot off their appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, their first late-night stop in six years, they stuck around in New York for this morning’s episode of CBS This Morning, the now-hip morning news show that’s counted Michael Stipe, Conor Oberst, and Real Estate as recent guests. The indie rock icons ran through a few tracks from their recent album, “Lampshades on Fire,” “Coyotes,” and “The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box”, and singer-guitarist Isaac Brock also chatted with host Anthony Mason about the origins of this new record. You can catch “Coyotes” up above and the rest down below.
