Lil Wayne Hurls Another Diss at Birdman in New Young Money Cipher

Lil Wayne, Birdman, Cash Money

Lil Wayne is still pissed at Birdman. In case you missed it, Weezy is suing Birdman’s Cash Money for $51 million, alleging that they did not pay him the $10 million they owed him for his long-delayed Tha Carter V. It’s gotten so bad that the two are reportedly no longer on speaking terms. But that doesn’t mean they can’t communicate through diss tracks. On Wednesday, Karen Civil released a new Young Money Cipher featuring the whole crew, but Weezy’s verse is the real draw. “I thank you for my hit man / And tell Pac I’m a big fan / I sing ‘Dear Mama’ to my dear mama / And sing ‘Hit Em Up’ to my daddy bitch ass,” he raps, referring to the diss track “Hit Em Up,” and, presumably, his one-time father figure Birdman. Owch. If you’re reading this, Birdman, this link’s for you.
