My oh my, what a busy week it’s been for British producer Jamie xx, who just announced his debut album In Colour, offered up a track list (hi there, Young Thug), and dropped two new singles — including “Gosh” — to top it off. It being Friday and all, xx figured he’d keep the good times rolling with his new music video for “Loud Places,” a collaborative track with xx bandmate Romy Madley Croft that sparkles in its gloom.

Directed by Simon Halsall and Jean-Baptiste Fugger, the visual finds the friends skateboarding across the city, culminating in a burst of confetti and glitter. Tonally, it fits the song quite well, touching on themes of isolation as well as the eventual understanding of the necessity of companionship in moments of darkness. Regardless, In Colour is shaping up to be quite the treat. Watch “Loud Places” above and look for Jamie xx’s full album to impact on June 2 via Young Turks.
