Hudson Mohawke To Release New Album, ‘Lantern,’ in June

Hudson Mohawke has announced the title and release date of his new album, Lantern. The upcoming record, due out on June 6 via Warp Records, is the Scottish producer’s first solo LP in six years. “This album is everything I’ve been working towards,” he said in a press release. “I wanted to make a classic — at least for me and my friends. I never wanted to be any genre. I wanted to be my own thing. Everything.” 

HudMo, whose real name is Ross Birchard, shared an eerie teaser trailer for the album on YouTube, involving a frightened and disheveled D.I.Y. Ronald McDonald. It’s all very mysterious, but hopefully it will all make sense at some point. Check it out above, and see the full track list below.
