The Grand Theft Auto games have always been known for soundtracks that bring together big names for the first time, but the new single “Play It Cool” — a cut from the upcoming The Alchemist and Oh No Present: Welcome to Los Santos, curated by hip-hop duo Gangrene — brings that to a whole new level. Featuring Future Islands singer Samuel T. Herring, Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt, the song offers a piano-driven narrative about life and crime on the streets. Come for the weird collaboration — the first of many from this album, which’ll feature new music by Phantogram, Killer Mike, Little Dragon, and Tunde Adebimpe — and stay for the Ron Burgundy jazz flutes. Stream it below (courtesy of Vanity Fair, of all places), and get the full soundtrack when it hits stores on April 21.
