Death Grips Drop Howling New Track, ‘On GP,’ Off Forthcoming ‘Jenny Death’

The avant-garde rap group promises a new album on March 17

Since last year, Death Grips have supplied the quintessential “will they or won’t they (stay broken up)” narrative that the music industry needs to survive. For months, the California punk-hop group have teased Jenny Death, the second half of their promised final album The Powers That B, but only this week did anyone receive confirmation that the project was actually hitting shelves next Tuesday (March 17). Now, Death Grips have released the drum thrashing, organ heavy “On GP,” allegedly the final song on Jenny. Some of the lyrics are typically out of left field (example: “Listen up you nosy bitch listen close / My most recent purchase old black rope / Gonna learn how to tie it hang it in my chamber”), so strap in and get ready to squirm. Watch the sparse “On GP” video above, hear their instrumental January release Fashion Week here, and look for Jenny Death via Harvest next week.

Update: Stream the new, official “On GP” video below.
