Shortly after announcing plans to release a reunion album, rock-gaze legends Swervedriver have unveiled the record’s third track: “Autodidact.” Following the effort’s first single, “Deep Wound” (released in late 2013), and “Setting Sun” from earlier this year, “Autodidact” brims over with layered dissonant guitar-work, crashing percussion, and lyrical pleas for the song’s subject to “teach me.” The song — titled after a well-loved English major term meaning “self-taught” — clocks in at a solid five minutes and will surely be a new favorite in literary circles the world over.
