Stream the Juliana Hatfield Three’s New Track, ‘Wood’

The Juliana Hatfield Three

The recently reunited Juliana Hatfield Three will soon return with their long-awaited sophomore record, Whatever, My Love, which arrives 22 years after 1993’s alt-pop staple Become What You Are. Now, after releasing the songs “If I Could” and “Ordinary Guy,” the trio have a new one, “Wood.” Oscillating between octaves, the guitar-based track is an anxious one dedicated to a nameless lover. Hatfield tells Rolling Stone that “Wood” is “the opposite of ‘I Wanna Sex You Up'” and is “about numbness and dissociation – feeling like a block of wood.” Listen below, and hear Whatever, My Love when it drops on February 17 on American Laundromat Records.
