The alt-rock icons take to the stage for an extended performance on the live music TV institution
Foo Fighters have already done their share of world-shattering shows in support of their 2014 studio album, but Saturday night another special one surfaced on this week’s episode of Austin City Limits. Continuing the series of special bookings that the live music TV show has pulled for their 40th season, the alt-rock legends busted out a career-spanning set including a handful of relative rarities, their biggest hits, and the covers they’ve been breaking out recently (including the Fabulous Thunderbirds’ “Tuff Enuff” with their guitarist Jimmie Vaughan. Gary Clark Jr. also turned up to reprise his appearance on Sonic Highways as well as a handful of other cuts. You can relive the whole set up above if you didn’t catch it the first time around.
