Based on the impressive cast Killer Mike and El-P enlisted for Run the Jewels 2, it seems like it’d be hard for Run the Jewels to ever top the guests they brought to that record. That said, it looks like they have more exciting collaborations in the works already. As Pitchfork points out, El-P tweeted yesterday afternoon that the duo was “in the studio with Massive Attack.” Mike ended up posting a couple of Instagrams while they were there, including a photo of the whole crew that, at the very least, confirms that they were in the same room. It’s unclear exactly what this collaboration would be used for, but whether a new Run the Jewels album or a track for the U.K. triphop legends, it’s going to be worth keeping tabs on.
