Usually content to let the singers on his tracks dominate in their subsequent music videos — think Tove Lo in the “Heroes” visual from last fall — Swedish DJ and producer Alesso tries his hand at acting in the surprisingly entrancing treatment for his new synth-pop single, “Cool.” Set in a fictional high school, the narrative follows a nerdy, bespectacled Alesso, who eventually abandons all decorum, thrusting his hips at his teacher and prancing through the hallways.
