Sia has something of a reputation for a reticence to participate in the more public aspects of the pop star life. But since the release of her 2014 album, she’s overcome that a little bit offering up late night television performances that have included tiny dancers and Lena Dunham, and this weekend on Saturday Night Live, the 1000 Forms of Fear singer offered up a couple of performances that were at least as strange as her others. While performing a heartbreaking rendition of “Chandelier” with no more instrumental accompaniment than a grand piano, a mime in a suit stood by and signed. Things were equally as weird during her performance of “Elastic Heart” where she wore some sort of strange shroud as two blonde-wigged dancers emoted around her. It’s definitely worth a watch, both above and below.
