Ryn Weaver Makes Her Television Debut on ‘Letterman’
The rising star performed an especially trilling version of "OctaHate"
Ryn Weaver seems poised to have a big 2015. The young singer-songwriter made her presence last known with her debut EP, Promises, and the musical backing of Cashmere Cat and Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos. On Wednesday night, she appeared on national television for the first time when David Letterman invited her onto his show. Weaver trilled her way through “OctaHate,” her most well-known song, and while she might’ve seemed nervous at first, she soared once the song really got going. Letterman was impressed enough to give her a courtly kiss on the hand (or at least he tried to).
