Panda Bear Will ‘Meet the Grim Reaper’ in Worldwide Radio Premiere of New LP

Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper Worldwide Radio Premiere Stream Domino

Noah Lennox, Animal Collective founder and the man behind the solo project Panda Bear, has teased precious little material in advance of his fourth studio album Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, but that’s set to change this week. Starting Sunday January 4 on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC6 radio show, the Tomboy singer will debut all of the yet-to-be-released tracks from his album across a globe-spanning radio campaign.

The album opener “Sequential Circuits” will be the first to premiere between 2-5 a.m. EST on Sunday, followed by “Crosswords” between 4-5 p.m. EST on the same day on a German radio show called Klaus Fiehe on Plan B. The rest of the tracks will debut over the course of the next couple of days, finishing up with “Acid Wash” at 12 p.m. EST on Tuesday January 6. You can head over to an interactive map on the Domino Records website for the full details. Though we’re not sure exactly what to expect from this album, early singles “Mr. Noah” and “Boys Latin” suggest Panda Bear in prime form, with his usual mix of narcotized vocals and stuttering instrumental samples on full display.

Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper will hit record stores the following week on January 13 via Domino.
