Missy Elliott to Join Katy Perry Onstage at Super Bowl Halftime Show
The rapper will allegedly perform her 2002 hit "Work It"
Break out the chips ‘n’ dip: Katy Perry will reportedly welcome Missy Elliott to the stage during her Super Bowl Halftime show performance this Sunday. According to the Associated Press, Elliott will be on hand to perform her 2002 hit “Work It,” which should satisfy anyone psyched about the mysterious “old school” female singer Perry referenced in a Thursday press conference. “When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt,” the “California Girls” singer said. Of course this isn’t the first time the two have collaborated — Perry and Elliot previously worked on a remix of “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” in 2013.
